Rachel started the big day at a family friend’s home close by to Springton Manor. She and her bridesmaids were pampered with hair and makeup and enjoyed each other’s company before heading over to the farm to get dressed. Once they arrived, the bridesmaids got into their floor length navy blue gowns and helped Rachel into her strapless, ruched wedding gown. The couple kept it traditional by not seeing each other until Rachel walked down the aisle. Their ceremony was set in front of the gazebo that was decorated with florals to match the fall color scheme. Andy Mahaney did a great job creating a personal script just for the newlyweds! After they were pronounced husband and wife, the couple recessed down the aisle and headed out for photos with their bridal party while guests got to enjoy a delicious cocktail hour. The grounds at the farm were perfect for different photos and their photographer Doug did an incredible job! Guests found their escort cards painted onto wooden sticks that were placed in small planted mums, which served as favors. They headed into the tent where they were seated at long feast style tables that were decorated with burlap, pumpkins and different floral arrangements. A really fun and personal aspect to the reception was that Rachel and her mom spent the entire year before the wedding scouring different antique stores and estate sales to find the vintage china that was used on the tables. Some of them were even chosen for specific guests which we placed at their setting with their place cards! Dinner was DELICIOUS, especially the butternut squash raviolis, which could be my favorite vendor meal of all time! The couple and their family and friends enjoyed a fun night on the dance floor and when they wanted to take a break, they headed over to the photo booth. A really fun day for a really fun couple!
