Lonni and Josh were married in late April in front of their family and friends in a personal ceremony officiated by the bride’s mother, who is also a Rabbi. We were excited for this wedding since it is the second time we got to work with this family. Back in 2010, we planned Lonni’s sister, Idit’s wedding, and that one was such a blast that we knew this one would be awesome as well! Lonni, her bridesmaids, and closest family members started the wedding day in a suite at the Sheraton Atlantic City with hair and makeup. While the bridesmaids were getting dressed in their floor length gray gowns, Lonni, her mom, and her sister, snuck away to get Lonni into her beautiful lace Romona Keveza gown. Once she was dressed she headed to the Atlantic City Boardwalk for her first look with Josh. The couple’s photographer, Pete Malone, arranged for them to meet under the pier making their first look very personal and private. After a short photo session they headed to the boardwalk to meet up with their bridal party and continue with pictures before heading to One Atlantic for the Tisch, Bedeken, and Ketubah signing. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house during these traditional Jewish wedding formalities! The couple exchanged their I Do’s under a beautiful Chuppah created by Manic Botanic before being danced out of the ceremony by their friends and family. Guests enjoyed views of the ocean while being treated to a delicious cocktail hour, while our team was busy at work in the ballroom adding in all of the finishing touches. We provided the burlap and lace table runners that were topped with the gorgeous centerpieces created by Manic Botanic and we added in extra vintage bottles and our slate table numbers. Guests found their table assignments on a custom faux chalkboard seating chart that we created for the couple. After the couple was introduced for the first time as husband and wife, they went right into their Hora which lasted about a half hour- everyone was having such a great time dancing to the music from Nafshenu! Guests enjoyed their dinner and then headed to the dance floor after a surprise flash mob arranged by the groom’s family. Lonni and Josh were so surprised and really enjoyed it! Dancing went on well into the night after a picture perfect wedding day! Last month, their wedding was chosen to be featured on Style Me Pretty. If you’d like to see the feature, you can go here.
