Lacey and James were married in early May of this year at Sweetwater Farm in a touching and person ceremony in front of their closest friends and family. Lacey and her girls got their hair and makeup done by a one of Lacey’s friends, while the guys hung out and played pool and just relaxed- a great way to start the day! Lacey is a fashion blogger so you know that this wedding was going to be full of style! She fell in love with a a pair of red Valentino heels and used them as color inspiration for her bridesmaids. The girls all wore floor length dresses from the same designer but in different styles and shades of red and pink. The finished off their look with simple white bouquets which really made a statement against the girls’ dresses! Lacey wore a vintage looking J.Crew wedding gown that had just the right amount of sparkle and fit in perfectly for this vineyard themed wedding. She finished off her look with an adorable feather headpiece and of course, the perfect red shoes! She and James decided to see each other before the ceremony and get some of their pictures out of the way. The sprawling grounds at the vineyard were perfect for pictures! The couple and the bridal party then got ready for the ceremony. Instead of programs for each guest, they had a large version of a menu on display as guests walked down to their seats. Lacey walked down the aisle that was lined with single peonies in bottles to her groom and they said their I Do’s. After being pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds went out for a few more pictures before joining their guests at cocktail hour. Guests found their table assignments attached to wine glasses which were a huge hit! Guests were asked to sign wine corks and then the corks were placed in a frame for the couple to put on display. The long reception tables were decorated with bottomless wine bottles that were lit from the inside with LED candles and their florist repurposed the bridesmaids bouquets and placed them sporadically in between the bottles creating a perfect runner down the center! After guests were finished with dinner, they were invited to the dance floor where they all danced the night away- and we’re not kidding, this group was a dancing crowd- almost everyone was out of their seats! Lacey changed into a short, glittery dress for the reception and when the night was over, she and her new husband walked out of the reception through a beautiful sparkler sendoff! It was a a fantastic day from start to finish! If you’d like to see some more images from their wedding and their feature on Style Me Pretty, you can go here.
