Julie and Daryl were married on Labor Day weekend of last year at Winterthur in Delaware. Their wedding screamed FUN, which is perfect since they really wanted their guests to have a great time! After spending the morning with hair and makeup, the girls got into their coral colored dresses so that they could help Julie get into her gorgeous gown. Her gown was a simple and elegant cream color with a lot of beading on the top. She finished her look with a veil and headed out to do her reveal meeting with her soon to be husband! The emotional reveal was captured perfectly by M2 Photography and after the couple shared a few moments alone, they headed out with their bridal party for photos. The ceremony was held at the Reflecting Pool and guests were placed all around as they looked on to see the couple exchange their vows. Julie’s father was ill and unable to attend the wedding, so he was Skyped in and placed in the first row so he could witness the ceremony! After the ceremony, guests headed over to the lower patio for cocktails before being shuttled down to the Visitor’s Center for the reception. The details at their reception were amazing! They had a jazz and dance theme so the tables were named after dancers and jazz musicians and guests found their table assignments on cards that were placed in stands that looked like treble clefs! The space was draped out by the crew from Synergetic and it truly transformed the look of the Visitor’s Center. Half of the tables were topped with black shantung linens and the other half were topped with retro looking dotted linens. Elegant trumpet vases and low silver vessels were filled with fuchsia, orange, light pink, and peach colored flowers to match the wedding’s color scheme. Guests were treated to a wire array of awesome snacks! From the Philadelphia and Baltimore snack table that was set up like football field to mini cupcakes set up in the couple’s logo and Rita’s Water Ice- there was no shortage of fun snacks for everyone! After cutting into their 6 tier cake, Julie surprised Daryl with a football shaped groom’s cake with the Ravens logo on it. Guests were able to cut loose on the dance floor to the great music and celebrate this fantastic wedding!
Congratulations Julie and Daryl!
