When you’re already friends with the couple and a large part of the guest list is wedding industry friends, there’s no doubt that the wedding is going to be a blast. But when you toss in all the fun elements that Joy and Eric included, you get an adorable and unforgettable wedding day that completely stands out from the rest! Joy’s dad’s original (and now beautifully restored!) VW Bus was not only their mode of transportation, but it also served as inspiration for the decor of the event. The invites featured a bus, the place cards were tiny paper buses, the cake was a hood of a bus, kids colored on coloring book pages featuring Joy and Eric’s adventures in the bus! They created everything themselves, including the paper florals and garland, as well as the red and white sangria that was served as their summery signature cocktail! Before the reception, The Wedding Pastor, Andy Mahaney, conducted a heartfelt and sweet ceremony in the side garden of Tokyo Restaurant, which was the fantastic venue with a delicious sushi menu of the couple’s favorites. Jim from Synergetic Sound and Lighting did an awesome job keeping the dance floor packed all night! Jackie and Pat from Love Shack Photo were on hand to capture everything beautifully- they sent these awesome teasers, we can’t wait to see the rest! Since it was the Fourth of July, we were also treated to a spectacular fireworks show and had some fun with sparklers! Joy and Eric’s wedding was a great time, full of love and laughter- we wish them more of the same in the years to come! -Erin
Abby and Liam are such a sweet couple, so in love, and really wanted their family and friends to have a great time at their wedding. The girls started their day bright and early with hair and makeup from Michelle Mercado and Kristina Ruggerio and they all looked incredible. They were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Andrew’s Church conducted by one of Abby’s father’s cousins, making it all the more special and personal. After exchanging their vows and exiting the church to cheering and clapping from their guests, they went off for photos with their bridal party. The reception was held at Springfield Country Club and the space looked incredible with the centerpieces created by Brittany from Petals Lane. After dinner, The Heartbeats played a killer two hour set and had everyone up on the dance floor and cheering for one more song at the end of the night! Cat and Al from BG Productions were on hand to capture all of the fun and sent us this gorgeous teaser. I got to see a few of the photos and can’t wait to see the rest and share them with everyone! The party didn’t end there, guests were able to grab a midnight snack that was a Philly Soft Pretzel before walking over to the after party held at Tavola’s where everyone partied until the wee hours of the morning. Congratulations Abby and Liam! I hope you have a wonderful time in Italy and wish you both nothing but love, laughter, health, and happiness!! -Lisa
Kylie and Jared’s stunning wedding was held Saturday at Cairnwood Estate. Every detail was planned to perfection and the couple added a lot of personal touches- from the bacon station at cocktail hour, to the funfetti cake and Penn State geared creamery station during the reception. Everyone got ready at Cairnwood and the girls looked lovely thanks to Jill from Up Your Do and Casey from Dylan Michael Cosmetics. Kylie and Jared shared their first look on the grand staircase and then walked the grounds for pictures together and with their bridal party and families. They had perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony and it was decorated with rose pomanders lining the aisle and altar arrangements by Valley Green Flowers and Gifts. Karen Spire Catering delivered a wonderful cocktail hour and dinner service and Mike from Synergetic Sound and Lighting kept the dance floor busy all night. The guys from Synergetic also added to the ambiance with uplighting, a dance floor wash, and string lights over the fountain and lounge area. Thanks to the gorgeous rentals from Maggpie Vintage Rentals, guests had a choice of different lounges to relax in and they were also treated to a bourbon and cigar bar later in the night. Rebecca Barger was there capturing the day and I cannot wait to see the images from this wedding. It was a perfect day with a gorgeous bride and groom and lots of love. Congratulations Kylie and Jared! We wish you all the best! -Becky
