This past Friday was a beautiful day for a wedding- the sun was shining, there were sporadic, fluffy clouds, and there was a lot of love in the air! Caitlin and Sugie began their day at the Hilton Christiana, where Caitlin and her girls got ready in one of the hotel’s parlor rooms with the help from Calista Brides. After hair and makeup, the girls got ready for their first look. The ladies shared a romantic first look that was captured by Stuart Sanft Photography. After photos, everyone headed over to The Farmhouse for the ceremony and reception. Caitlin and Sugie met while playing softball, so they had great softball touches woven throughout the day including boutonnieres made of softball, stitching on their on their table numbers and cake, and even stitching detail on Caitlin’s nails! Their personal ceremony was performed by Caitlin’s cousin and then it was time to get the party started! They had a busy dancefloor thanks to Rich of Entertainment International and The Farmhouse looked beautiful thanks to centerpieces by Flowers by Mary Elizabeth. It as such a beautiful day filled with a ton of love, family, and friends. We were so happy to be a part of it. Caitin and Sugie, we wish you the best! -Becky
Saturday was a gorgeous day for Jessica and Brian’s wedding! The day started with everyone at Le Meridien Hotel in Philadelphia. Up Your Do and Dylan Michael Cosmetics came early to do hair and makeup for the girls, and they looked gorgeous! After being pampered for the morning, the girls got into their blush pink floor length gowns and helped Jess into her stunning wedding gown. Meanwhile, Brian- a Naval Officer in the military- and his groomsmen were prepping for the day. The couple kept things traditional and saw each other for the first time as Jess made her way down the aisle of St. Thomas of Villanova Church. Their ceremony was sweet and personal as Brian’s father is a Deacon and performed the gospel and homily during the ceremony. After being pronounced as husband and wife, the newlyweds walked through the traditional Arch of Swords Ceremony! They took some photos before heading back to the hotel for cocktail hour, where Elegance String Quartet played in the background. The ballroom was decorated with amazing centerpieces by Carl Alan Floral Design and uplit in light pink by Scratch Weddings, who also provided the entertainment for the night! Lori and Iyishea of George Street Photography were on hand to capture all of the special moments of the day. Very best wishes to Jess and Brian! -Amanda
What an incredible day for Kerry and Derek’s wedding! The day started at Hotel Palomar with the ladies being pampered with hair and makeup in the Presidential Suite and the guys hanging out and relaxing. The bridesmaids wore navy blue to match the wedding’s color scheme and Kerry slipped into her Amy Kuschel gown, which she finished off with a sparkly belt- she looked stunning! Kerry and Derek had their first look at the hotel before heading off for photos with their bridal party in Rittenhouse Square. After wrapping up with group photos, the couple headed off alone with their wonderful photographer, Asya Photography. Over at The College of Physicians, setup was underway for their ceremony and reception. The ceremony was conducted by Maria from Journeys of the Heart and was filled with stories of the couple’s long love story and a wine ceremony. Cocktail hour was a delicious mix of stations and hors d’oeurves created by Catering by Design. The guests packed the dancefloor to the music from Steve of Silver Sound Entertainment and Well Spun Weddings captured all the fun on film! Tanti and her team from Papertini created gorgeous and fun centerpieces that featured details like vintage books, boxes, and frames- it looked perfect in the space! Congratulations Kerry and Derek! We wish you years of happiness! -Lisa
