Becca and Jim were married on Saturday at St. Katharine of Siena followed by a killer reception at Overbrook Country Club. Becca and her ladies started the day at Overbrook in their bridal suite with hair by Tricia Vanore and makeup by Nicole from Cheekadee. Meanwhile, Jim and the fellas were relaxing at The Desmond Hotel before heading over to the church. One of Jim’s family’s friends Father Gary Koch officiated their traditional Catholic ceremony and added some personal touches. After taking photos with their family and then their bridal party, the newlyweds spent some time alone for their photos all over the golf course. The ballroom was decorated with centerpieces created by Tish Long and they added a perfect pop of pink in the room to match the color scheme. Julie from Sweetwater Portraits took their beautiful photos while Dutch, also from Sweetwater Portraits, was shooting everything on Super-8! We can’t wait to see the finished product but were so happy to see the two teasers below! Guests enjoyed a delicious meal followed by cake from Bredenbeck’s Bakery and then were able to cut loose on the dance floor to the music from Jellyroll! Everyone packed the dance floor well into the night and then joined the lovebirds at their afterparty at The Desmond Hotel. Congratulations Becca and Jim- you were so fun to work with and I wish you nothing but the best! -Lisa
The rain held out for Svetlana and Niles’ wedding on Sunday. Svetlana and her bridesmaids started their day by getting their hair and makeup done at Douglas Arthur Salon. Their beautiful bouquets were from Elle Wedding Designs and the bride personalized them by adding a charm for each bridesmaid. They then headed to the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church to meet up with the guys for their traditional ceremony. While the bridal party headed to the Ocean City Boardwalk for photos, guests enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour at The Flanders Hotel. When the bridal party returned, it was time to party! The couple enjoyed a very special first dance, with their friend singing “Your Song” by Elton John. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, followed by Rita’s Water Ice and a Zelda themed wedding cake! They danced the night away thanks to Synergetic Sound and Lighting. Anastasia Romanova Photography and Martin’s Video were on hand to capture all the special moments. Congratulations Svetlana and Niles! -Jen
