WOW! What a weekend we had at Proud to Plan! 2 gorgeous weddings for 2 special couples with 2 stellar vendor teams!
First off, our good friends from The Wise Image, Mallory and Joey, were married on Saturday at World Café Live at The Queen in front of their family and closest friends looking on! Before walking down the aisle to her groom, Mal started the day with hair done by Dawn from Ooh La La Spa and Salon and makeup done by Gina with Gina Jost Makeup Artist in their suite at The Westin Wilmington. The ladies wore beautiful champagne gowns to match the weddings color scheme and Mal’s jeweled gown fit her like a glove! Mal and Joey shared a first look on the pier at the riverfront before heading out with their parents and bridal party for pictures at Gibralter Gardens on a party bus by Prime Time Limousine. After a beautiful ceremony lead by The Wedding Pastor: Andy Mahaney, and some family photos, everyone made their way to cocktail hour where The Philadelphia Wedding Band played before guests headed downstairs for a fun and personalized reception. Tables were topped with pretty white tulips and washed in candlelight done by Botanical Splash. Justin with Synergetic Sound and Lighting kept the dance floor packed all night while Hoffer Photography and First Floor Films captured all the fun on camera and film! As a surprise for their guests, the couple hired East Coast Photo Booth and shared their wedding hashtag wall on stage –it was a huge hit! Thanks to the Hoffers for these beautiful teasers! Mal and Joey, we were so honored to be part of such a special day for a wonderful couple! All the best of luck to you both! ~Amanda
Then, back in Philly, Colleen and Stephen were getting ready to become husband & wife! The ladies were pampered by Cheers 2 U Events in a fabulous suite at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, and they looked absolutely beautiful! After everyone changed into their wedding attire, we staged a first look on the steps of the Loews Hotel. Lucky for us, we had photos and video being shot by The Artist Group– and these teasers they’ve sent are incredible! After our photo session, it was time to tie the knot at St. Peter the Apostle in a beautiful Catholic ceremony full of memorable moments. Later that evening, our friends at Finley Catering spoiled the guests with amazing food and service at The Ballroom at the Ben. The ballroom looked overwhelmingly stunning thanks to the floral decor by Carl Alan and linens from Total Table. Our happy couple and their guests danced the night away by tunes from Carnivale, and the party continued back at Bank and Bourbon at The Loews until the wee hours of the morning! Every single person had an amazing time- from start to finish, it was a flawless wedding day! SO many congrats to this special couple- I wish we could plan this wedding over and over again! Best wishes to Colleen and Stephen! ~Erin
