We are so happy that the rain finally stopped on Friday for Alyssa & Jimmy’s wedding day. Alyssa and her bridesmaids started their day being pampered at the Hotel Monaco, courtesy of Calista Grand. Alyssa and Jimmy shared an intimate first look before heading to the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center for bridal party photos. Since the rain finally stopped, they were able to truly enjoy the grounds and have an outdoor ceremony. They even had a live painting done of the ceremony! Afterwards, guests were treated to a delicious dinner courtesy of Starr Events and a beautiful cake from Cinderellie’s Sweets. The space was truly transformed with florals from Autumn Snow Floral Design and lighting from Synergetic. The dance floor was packed thanks to Justin from Synergetic. Tim Gangi Photography was on hand all night to capture the memories and was kind enough to share some pretty pics with us! Congratulations Alyssa & Jimmy! ~Jen
Mother Nature couldn’t make up her mind, but Sunday ended up being a wonderful day for a wedding. Ashley and her ladies got ready at Cairnwood with help from Hair by Meghan and makeup by Daniel Kominsky. Ashley looked gorgeous in her gown and her mother and sister were beautiful in there black, floor-length gowns. Once everyone was ready, the groom, the best man, the bride and her family were taken down to Bryn Athyn Cathedral in a 1927 Rolls Royce by First Class Rolls Royce. After a beautiful ceremony, guests tossed petals at the newlywed’s as they came out of the church. Mother Nature decided that was the perfect time for torrential downpours, but everyone was a good sport about it. It didn’t put a damper on anything and it even cooled things down. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour up at the mansion with a slider station, a pasta station, a cheese and cracker station, and a number of passed hors d’oeurves thanks to Sensational Host Catering. Philly Event Group lit the tent, Great Hall and Living room beautifully. After dinner in the tent, guests enjoyed cake and an adorable groom’s cake by Sweet T’s Bakeshop, caricatures thanks to Caricatures by Courtney, a photobooth and an awesome end of the night Philly Phun Food station. Sam from Center Stage Entertainment kept the dance floor packed and Jeff of Jeff Anderson Photography was on hand to capture the whole day (and share these awesome teasers with us!). It was a gorgeous wedding, with so many personal and intricate details including vintage furniture from Lovebirds Vintage Decor, and beautiful signs and photos that the mother of the bride put together. Congratulations Ashley and Mike! We hope you had a wonderful time and wish you all the best! -Becky
