Katherine and John were married on Saturday and what a beautiful day it was! The bride and her maids started the day by getting ready at the Hotel Monaco with the help of Josephine Hanrahan for hair and Jennifer Brown of Salon Zen for makeup. Soon after, the entire wedding party headed downstairs to the gorgeous independence park for the first look and photos that Werth Photography were there to capture. After some family photos in the theater and a beautiful ceremony held in the ballroom at the Academy of Music, lead by a close friend Jim Quigley, guests made their way down to cocktail hour where Lester Lanin Orchestra played. Afterwards, everyone went back upstairs for a fun and personalized reception. The ballroom was decorated beautifully, incorporating gold vases with beautiful high and low floral arrangements, washed in candlelight done by Fresh Designs, Philadelphia Street named tables, as well as, yummy LOVE chocolate favors. Guests were then treated to a delicious dinner courtesy of Garces Catering with Ron and his awesome staff at the Academy of Music. Later, Katherine surprised John with a Jeopardy themed grooms cake and a special dedicated dance to Katherine’s grandparents who have been married for 66 years. At the end of the night, Katherine and John made their grand exit into a 1964 Rolls Royce provided by First Class Luxury Limos. Katherine and John, we were so honored to be a part of such a special day for a wonderful couple! All the best of luck to your both! ~Amanda
