Alyssa and Matt celebrated their wedding on Friday, which turned out to be a beautiful Fall day. Alyssa and her bridesmaids got ready with the help of Christopher Moore Salon. The couple shared an intimate first look before heading out in the city with their bridal party for photos. Everyone then headed to St. John the Evangelist for a traditional Catholic ceremony. Once Alyssa & Matt were married, it was time to party! Everyone enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour and dinner at the Loews Philadelphia. The ballroom was truly transformed with centerpieces from HoneyBunches Floral Design and string lighting from Synergetic Sound & Lighting. The dance floor was packed with guests dancing to the tunes spun by EBE Entertainment. At the end of the night, guests were treated to the couple’s favorite salty and sweet treats – soft pretzels and elephant ears! Kalen Foley Photography was on hand to capture all the memories. Congratulations Alyssa & Matt!
Saturday we had the pleasure of helping Karen and Jim with their special day. It was a beautiful wedding filled with an abundance of family, friends, and love. The ladies started the day at the bride and groom’s home with hair by Up Your Do and makeup by Carie Brescia. After that the bridesmaids got in their grey lace dresses and the bride got into her vintage Armani gown. After some last minute touch ups and a few photos, it was time to meet the gentleman at Pomme for the couple’s first look and some portraits, captured by Rebecca Barger Photography. After photos the personalized ceremony took place in the round, officiated by The Wedding Pastor, Andy Mahaney, with music by Vivace Strings. Guests then enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour and dinner by Peachtree and Ward and a cake by Clays Creative Corner Bakery. The room looked beautiful thanks to floral design by Amaranth and lighting by Synergetic Sound and Lighting. DJ Kirk of Synergetic kept the dance floor packed all night and guests also enjoyed the company’s photobooth. Karen and Jim put together a unique and personalized wedding that not only brought them together, but their families as well. Congratulations to you both and we wish you all the best! ~Becky
High school sweethearts, Courtney and Jon, were married on Saturday at Faith Presbyterian Church in Wilmington. The day started with the bride and her maids getting ready at her parent’s house. The bridesmaids wore a pale pink dress while the bride wore a Pronovias dress with feathers on the top – it was stunning! After the ceremony, everyone went to The Carriage House at Rockwood Park for dancing and a delicious dinner by The Greenery Caterers. Two17 Photo & Cinema took the bridal party to the greenhouse to capture some gorgeous photos, while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Guests signed college flags, from the bride and groom’s respective colleges, opposed to a traditional guest book. Fresh Design Florist made beautiful arrangements which were accented with gold mercury glass votives, provided by the bride and groom. The Smore’s Cake by The Masters Baker was enjoyed and Audio Explosions Disc Jockeys had the entire crowd dancing all night long. It may have been a rainy day, but rain couldn’t stop this crowd from having a beautiful and fun day! Congrats, Courtney & Jon! ~Annemarie
