Saturday turned out to be exactly what summer weddings should be; filled with glamour, sunshine, and fun! Jenna spent the morning being pampered by Kerri from Herringbone Salon and Lanette Aloi Artistry. Justin hung out with his dad and brothers and relaxed before it was time to get dressed and see Jenna for the first time that day. Once Jenna and Justin were ready, their photographer Sarah McKay tucked Justin away in a hidden stairwell at The Ritz-Carlton where he anxiously awaited his private first look with his bride! Jenna and Justin took a few minutes to enjoy the moment before heading out to Broad Street for some iconic Philly style photos. Jenna and Justin hopped in an Uber and made their way to FDR Park for more pics, where they made “braving the heat” look effortless. Guests began arriving to the American Swedish Historical Museum where they gathered inside the Great Hall for the ceremony. As the music played, Justin walked down the aisle with his parents and the bride’s cousin, Rob, escorted Jenna’s mom to her seat before taking his place at the altar. The music changed and the museum’s brass doors opened letting in the sunlight and warm summer air as Jenna and her dad made their way to Justin. Once everyone was in place, Rob officiated a truly personal ceremony that included a reading of These I Can Promise by Mark Twain and another reading that was written and read by the couple’s friend. Once Jenna and Justin sealed their marriage with a kiss, it was time for their guests to celebrate with them! Guests liked checking out the sights both inside and outside of the museum while enjoying a delicious cocktail hour with food and beverages provided by Jeffery Miller Catering. As the sun went down, guests were invited into the tent where the tables were artfully decorated with gorgeous florals with hints of mirror and metallics thanks to our friends at Honeybunches! Jenna and Justin shared their first dance as a married couple, then Justin’s twin brother, and Jenna’s friend toasted the couple as dinner was served. Synergetic had the crowd dancing all night in the warm summer night breeze while Martin’s Video was there to capture every dance move from start to finish! Later in the night, spontaneous fireworks went off and we were lucky to be treated to an unforgettable show! There’s also a personal connection here, too: who would have thought years after graduating High School a few years apart, I would get to help plan and be a part of such an important day in Justin’s life? It truly is such a small world!! I could not be more thrilled for Justin and Jenna; I wish them nothing but love and happiness in their new chapter in life as husband and wife! Congratulations and Best Wishes! ~Kristin
