This weekend we were at the Valley Forge Military Academy for Laura and Chris’ wedding. Mother nature held off on the rain and their wedding day was full of sunshine! Their ceremony was held at the Chapel of St Cornelius the Centurion and was officiated by Andy Mahaney. Before Laura walked down the aisle, two of Chris’ friends from the Marines rolled out the aisle runner for her. When the ceremony concluded they had a wonderful sword ceremony in front of all of their friends and family. While Laura, Chris and their bridal party took their formal photos, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with lots of delicious food and drinks prepared by Day by Day Catering. They danced the night away and when it came time to cut the cake, which was topped with a custom cake topper made to look like the newlyweds, they used Chris’ sword. It was a wonderful day from start to finish!
